About Doyle Construction
Two generations, one standard
A family-run custom home builder in Tumwater, Washington, carrying building science credentials and decades of South Sound experience onto every job site.
The story
Building the South Sound since the 1980s.
Daimon Doyle started building custom homes in the late 1980s, earned multiple building awards, and served as president of Built Green Washington. His son Daniel grew up on those job sites, spent a decade in the industry, and founded Doyle Construction in 2019, carrying that training into a company of his own. Daimon joined in 2022.
That's the combination clients feel: a founder who answers his own phone, backed by thirty-plus years of building science and permitting knowledge. Together the team has completed hundreds of residential and light commercial projects across Thurston, Pierce, Mason, and Lewis counties, and was named Best of South Sound in the Builder category from 2022 through 2026, five years running.

What guides every build
Five Principles of Every Build
Comfort
Homes that feel right from day one: quiet, even temperatures, air that's good to breathe.
Health
Materials and mechanical systems chosen for the people living inside, not just the inspection.
Efficiency
Building science that cuts energy bills for the life of the house, verified, not guessed.
Durability
Assemblies designed for forty wet South Sound winters, not four.
Affordability
Honest budgets, value engineering when it helps, and no surprise change orders.
